Our team

The three people who will run your project

No accounts handed down to interns, no middlemen. There are three of us and each one answers for their own work. Drag the 3D model to spin us around.

In a small agency you know who is doing your work. There is no account department here, no manager relaying messages: you talk to the person who will touch your website, your campaign or your data. Three partners, three different areas, all working at the same table in Palamós.

Ivan Martir

App and web development

Ivan builds. Websites, custom applications, integrations between programs that never used to talk to each other, and automations that save somebody three hours of copying and pasting every week. When a project needs something that doesn't exist on the market, he is the one who makes it.

He works to a simple rule: if your team won't use the tool, it is worthless no matter how well it is written. So he shows things half-finished, asks questions early, and would rather ship something small that works than a huge project that lands late.

Jordi Benítez

Marketing, design and campaigns

Jordi is the one who turns what your business does into something people understand and search for. Strategy, design and campaigns: what gets said, how it looks and where the money goes. He puts together the first month's plan and shows you the numbers when it is time to review it.

If you have spoken to us on the phone, it was probably him. His part of the job starts before a word is written: working out who you sell to, what actually sets you apart from the place next door and what margin each sale leaves you. Everything else comes out of that.

Izan Martir

Cybersecurity and data

Izan handles the part nobody notices until it breaks: data being where it should be, the site holding up, access rights being what they say they are, and whatever gets measured being measured properly. He is the one who checks how a server is put together before signing off a migration, and the one who keeps going on about backups until they actually exist.

He also sets up the analytics whenever a new project comes in. Without measurement there is no honest conversation about results, so the first job is agreeing what counts as a customer, where they came from and what happened before they called. After that you can argue about whether a campaign works.

How we fit together

Three areas that overlap on purpose

Most problems in a digital project land right on the border between two trades. The campaign sends traffic to a page that loads slowly. The website looks beautiful but never passes the data to the measurement system. The program automating orders doesn't cover the odd case that happens every Friday. When a different company owns each piece, that gap belongs to nobody.

With the three of us at the same table those gaps get sorted out in a five-minute conversation instead of three emails and a week. It isn't a virtue we invented for the sales pitch: it is the practical reason we set the agency up this way.

It also shapes what we take on. If a job doesn't fit what we are good at, we say so and save you the time. We would rather lose a quote than hand over something mediocre with our name on it.

No middlemen

Why we show our faces

There are plenty of agencies where you never find out who did your work. You hire a brand, they assign an account manager, and behind that the people keep changing. We think that if you are handing someone the part of your business that brings in customers, the least you deserve is to know who they are.

That is why this page has real photographs rather than stock images, and why you can spin the models around: they are scans of us, taken the same day as the photos. It is a slightly different way of introducing ourselves, and it fits what we do — trying things most people haven't got round to trying yet.

Why Magnes Factory

What sets us apart from other agencies

There are plenty of agencies and freelancers. These are the reasons businesses in Girona and Barcelona trust us and stay.

01

Direct contact, no middlemen

You talk to the people doing the work, not a salesperson who promises and then vanishes. We're a small, close team, and it shows in the care we put in.

02

Honesty first

If something isn't right for you, we'll say so, even if it means selling less. We'd rather have a long relationship built on trust than a project that won't serve you.

03

Results you can measure

"Having a presence" isn't enough for us. We chase concrete numbers —clients, calls, sales, time saved— and show them to you plainly so you see what each euro brings in.

04

Digital marketing and software under one roof

Few agencies do great marketing AND build custom software. We do, and that lets us solve problems others don't even see: tying your website, your data and your processes into something that works together.

How we work

A clear method, no surprises

We don't believe in black boxes or reports nobody understands. We work in phases, tell you what we do at each one and why, and you always know where your project stands and what comes next.

01

We listen and diagnose

We start by really understanding your business: what you sell, to whom, what's holding you back and where you want to get to. Without this part, everything else is guesswork.

02

We propose a clear plan

We give you a roadmap with priorities, realistic timelines and a closed quote. No small print, no "we'll see": you know what you'll get and what it costs before we start.

03

We execute and keep you posted

We get to work and show you progress along the way. You can ask and change things as we go; we'd rather adjust on the fly than hand you something that doesn't fit.

04

We measure and improve

Once something is live, we look at the real numbers and fine-tune. What works, we reinforce; what doesn't pay off, we change. Continuous improvement is part of the deal.

Where we work

Marketing and software in Girona, Barcelona and all of Catalonia

We're from here and we know the ground. We understand how people on the Costa Brava and across the Girona and Barcelona regions buy, and we adapt every strategy to the area where your business wins its clients.

Girona

Our base of operations: a regional capital with plenty of retail, tourism and services where standing out on Google makes all the difference.

Palamós

This is where our office is. A Costa Brava town with local businesses, hospitality and tourism that need to be found.

Palafrugell

Calella, Llafranc, Tamariu… a strong tourist area where a good online presence fills bookings and calendars.

Figueres

Gateway to the Alt Empordà, with retail and companies competing for the same client: whoever shows up first, wins.

Barcelona

The biggest and most competitive market in Catalonia. There, SEO, well-run ads and a website that converts are essential.

Tarragona

A city and province with lots of small businesses and retail that benefit from ranking well in their area.

Lleida

The inland areas buy online too. We help Lleida businesses get found by clients who used to slip away.

Blanes and Lloret de Mar

The southern Costa Brava, very touristy and seasonal, where making the most of the season depends on your online visibility.

Olot and La Garrotxa

An inland region with industry, retail and nature tourism that gains a lot from a good digital strategy.

And if your business is somewhere else in Catalonia or Spain, no problem: we work remotely with the same closeness and the same care.

We work across the province of Girona —Girona, Palamós, Palafrugell, Figueres, Olot, Blanes, Lloret de Mar, Roses, Salt, Banyoles, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Torroella de Montgrí, Ripoll, La Bisbal d'Empordà, Castell-Platja d'Aro, Calonge i Sant Antoni, Begur, Cadaqués, L'Escala, Llagostera, Santa Coloma de Farners, Sant Antoni de Calonge, Empuriabrava, Puigcerdà, Anglès— and Barcelona —Barcelona, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Badalona, Sabadell, Terrassa, Mataró, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Cornellà de Llobregat, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Granollers, Manresa, Vic, Igualada, Rubí, Mollet del Vallès, Vilanova i la Geltrú, Sitges, Castelldefels, El Prat de Llobregat, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Vilafranca del Penedès, Cerdanyola del Vallès, Premià de Mar, Gavà, Martorell—, plus the counties of Costa Brava, Baix Empordà, Alt Empordà, Gironès, La Selva, Garrotxa, Pla de l'Estany, Maresme, Vallès Occidental, Vallès Oriental, Baix Llobregat, Barcelonès, Osona, Bages, Garraf, Anoia.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the team

Who will I actually be talking to?+

Us. Depending on what you need, one of us will lead the conversation, but there is no middleman relaying messages. On projects that touch several areas there is usually one point of contact and the others step in for their part.

Is it really just three of you?+

There are three partners and we are the ones who run the projects. For very specific one-off work —a big video production, a voiceover, an expert report— we bring in people we trust from outside, and we tell you when that happens.

Can three people handle large projects?+

It depends on the project, and we discuss it up front. A small team moves faster on decisions and coordination, but there is a ceiling on volume. If a job looks too big for our timescales, we say so in the first meeting rather than accepting it and improvising later.

Where are you and can I come and visit?+

At the Palau Firal, Carrer del Futur, in Sant Antoni de Calonge, Girona. You are welcome to come by if you let us know first. We also work remotely with clients in Barcelona and the rest of Catalonia, meeting in person when it's needed.

What are the 3D models on this page?+

Real photogrammetry scans of the three of us. They are compressed so they load quickly without losing detail, and you can spin them with a mouse or a finger. They serve no purpose beyond introducing us differently, but they say a fair amount about how we like to work.

Are you a digital marketing agency in Barcelona or in Girona?+

Both. The office is in Palamós, on the Costa Brava, and from there we cover the whole province of Girona in person: Girona city, Figueres, Olot, Blanes, Lloret, Palafrugell, Roses, Banyoles and Sant Feliu de Guíxols. In Barcelona and its metropolitan area —Badalona, Hospitalet, Sabadell, Terrassa, Mataró, Granollers, Sant Cugat, Manresa— we work the same way, mixing remote with visits when we need to meet. For a Barcelona company the practical difference is none.

How much does it cost to work with you?+

It depends on what you need: ranking a website isn't the same as building custom software. That's why, after a first no-obligation chat, we give you a closed, written quote tailored to your case and your moment. We work with freelancers, shops and small firms, so we fit the scope to your real budget.

How soon can you start?+

Usually we can get going within days of you accepting the proposal. What takes longer isn't starting, but seeing results: paid ads bring traffic almost immediately, while SEO or a solid brand take months. We're upfront about timelines from the start.

Do you work remotely or in person?+

Both. We're in Palamós, in the heart of the Costa Brava, so around Girona we're happy to meet in person. For the rest of Catalonia and Spain we work remotely with no problem: most of the work is done just as well over video call and email.

Do you lock me into a long contract?+

No. We don't like chains or contracts that trap you. We work on results and trust; if what we do helps you, you'll stay because you want to. And if at some point it doesn't fit, there's no sense in keeping you against your will.

What kind of businesses do you work with?+

Mainly freelancers, local shops and small firms in Girona, Barcelona and the rest of Catalonia who want to grow and don't know where to start. You don't need to be a big company or have a huge budget; you need to want to do things properly and for the long term.

Shall we start?

Tell us what's holding you back and we'll tell you how we fix it.

A first no-strings conversation. You leave with a clear plan, not an invoice.
